Uniform Concentric Element Load

Definition of a concentric uniformly distributed line load along the element axis.

Note: For detailed load explanation see also RM Bridge Load Types Library .
SettingDescription
From, To, Step Element series to be loaded
Assembly Alternative to load assignment via element series: Name of the assembly to be loaded. The specified load is applied to every element of the specified assembly.
Qx, Qy, Qz Load intensity components in x, y, z directions
Global / Local Selection of the related direction system (global, local, or user default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L)). Beta: If Beta is selected, the program will consider the local Users default orientation system (Y'L, Z'L), without considering the elements angle β value, for load direction and eccentricities evaluation.
Real length / Projection Load intensities related to the real (clear) element lengths or to the length of the projection normal to the load direction
Load/Unit length Entered load intensities are defined as line loads (force per length unit).
Load mult. by CS width Entered intensity values are surface loads related to the cross-section width. The values are internally multiplied by the cross-section width (z1+z2).
Note: In this context Cross-section width defined in the unit [Length(Structure]!
Load mult. by CS depth Entered intensity values are surface loads related to the cross-section depth. The values are internally multiplied by the cross-section depth (y1+y2).
Note: In this context Cross-section depth defined in the unit [Length(Structure]!
Nodal Load Entered load intensities are defined as line loads and applied as  concentrated loads at the element begin and end without taking into consideration any rigid restraint moments
